January 19, Fineko/abc.az. In Azerbaijan, it is proposed to legislate maximum speed limits on toll highways.

ABC.AZ informs that it is suggested to make appropriate changes to the Law on Road Traffic.

The bill was considered at today's meeting of the Milli Majlis Committee on Legal Policy and State Building.

According to the draft, for automobiles and trucks with maximum permissible weight of up to 3.5 tons on toll highways outside populated areas, the maximum speed will be no more than 130 km/h. For buses, cars with trailers, and trucks weighing more than 3.5 tons, the speed limit on such roads should not exceed 90 km/h.
