January 19, Fineko/abc.az. Last year, 36.306 million  tons of oil were transported through the main oil pipelines of Azerbaijan (6.3% less against 2024), ABC.AZ informs with reference to the State Statistics Committee.

In 2025, 74.9% of deliveries were carried out via oil pipeline Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC). Last year, 27.179 million tons of oil were transported through this pipeline (7.8% less versus 2024).

Last year, 84.8%, or 23.056 million tons of oil transported through the BTC pipeline, was oil produced in Azerbaijan, and 15.2%, or 4.122 million tons accounted for oil coming from Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan.

During this period, the BTC pipeline transportation of Azerbaijani oil decreased by 4.6% and oil from Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan by 22.2%.
