Georgia increases imports of fuel and lubricants from Azerbaijan

January 22, Fineko/abc.az. Georgia imported fuel and lubricants from Azerbaijan for $381.2 million in 2025 (12% more than in 2024), ABC.AZ reports, referring to the National Statistics Service of Georgia.

Thus, Azerbaijan took the 2nd place among the countries exporting fuels and lubricants to Georgia.

In 2025, Georgia purchased fuel and lubricants from foreign countries for $2 billion (9% more than a year ago).

Georgia imported products from Russia for $840 million, from Romania for $231 million, from Bulgaria for $193 million, and from Turkey for $114 million in 2025.

In 2024, Georgia imported fuel and lubricants from abroad for $1.842 billion, including for $341 million from Azerbaijan.
