January 22, Fineko/abc.az. Georgia imported natural gas from Azerbaijan for $236.7 million last year (7% less than in 2024), ABC.AZ reports with reference to the National Statistical Office of Georgia.

Thus, Azerbaijan took the 1st place among the countries exporting natural gas to Georgia.

In December 2025, Georgia purchased natural gas from Azerbaijan for $34.1 million (6% less versus December 2024).

In 2025, Georgia bought natural gas from foreign countries for $444 million (2.1% more than a year earlier).

Georgia imported natural gas for $206.4 million from Russia, for $275,400 from the UAE, for $186,200 from China and for $135,400 from Iran.

In 2024, Georgia purchased 2.315 bcm of natural gas for $435.5 million, including 1.664 bcm for $254.3 million from Azerbaijan.
