January 22, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan exported 187,500 tons of persimmons for $144.2 million last year.

ABC.AZ informs, referring to the State Statistics Committee, that in value terms the export of persimmons reached $30.5 million, or 26.9%, and in quantitative terms - $33,200 (21.5% more).

In 2024, country’s exports of persimmons totaled 154,300 tons for $113.7 million.

By the end of 2025, the average export price of 1 kg of persimmon exported by Azerbaijan amounted to 1.31 manats. And in 2024, this figure was 1.25 manats. This means an increase of 6 gapiks or 4.8% year-on-year.

This year, persimmons make up 0.58% of overall exports and 3.97% of non-oil exports. Last year, the figures were 0.43% and 3.39%, respectively.
