January 23, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan exported 36,000 tons of pomegranates for $35.3 million in 2025.

ABC.AZ reports that compared with 2024, pomegranate exports increased by $5.6 million or by 18.8% in value and by 2,000 tons or by 5.9% in quantitative terms (in 2024 - 34,000 tons of pomegranates for $29.8 million).

By the end of 2025, the average export price of 1 kg of Azerbaijani pomegranates was $0.98 (1.67 manats). In 2024, this figure was $0.88 (1.49 manats). This means price rise of $0.10 (0.18 manat), or 12.2% year-on-year.

In 2025, the share of pomegranates in overall exports was 0.14% and in non-oil sector exports - 0.97%. In 2024, the relevant figures were 0.11% and 0.89%.
