February 4, Fineko/abc.az. No changes in exchange rate of the manat against foreign currencies are expected in Azerbaijan in the near future.

ABC.AZ informs that CBA Chairman of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) Taleh Kazimov stated this at a press conference.

He noted that some experts create a stir in connection with the course.

"Let's look at reality and pay attention to our forecasts. Our forecast for the significant risk transfer (SRT) is positive for both this and next year. If the price of oil at the world market is around $64-65, this is acceptable both from angle of service stations and government budget expenditures. So we don't see any problems here. Reducing the price by $10 does not have a big impact on the economy - speech is approx. 300 million manats. For a service station, even the price of $55 allows achieving surplus," he noted.
