February 6, Fineko/abc.az. The amount refunded for residential and non-residential space in Azerbaijan in January 2026 as part of the VAT Refund Project has been published.

ABC.AZ informs that in January 2026, the amount of VAT refunded to consumers through authorized banks for goods and services (with the exception of oil and gas products, automobiles, alcoholic beverages and tobacco products), as well as for theatrical performances, film screenings, visits to museums and concerts of the symphony orchestra, services of medical institutions and private medical practice, and also, the cost of accommodation in hotels located in the liberated territories reached 19.68 million manats.

In January of 2025, this amount totaled 17.5 million manats.

In January 2026, the amount of VAT refunded by authorized banks for non-cash purchases of residential and non-residential premises reached 3.4 million manats. In January 2025, this figure was also 3.4 million manats.
