February 6, Fineko/abc.az. Russia may become Georgia's main trading partner, ABC.AZ informs, quoting Sergey Katyrin, the president of the Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
"Statistical data confirms steady development of economic ties. While maintaining the current dynamics and further developing logistics and business cooperation, Russia has grounds to become Georgia's largest trading partner in the coming years," he said.
Two countries’ trade turnover for 2025 totaled $2.688 bn (6.3% more than in 2024), and Moscow ranked the 3rd among Tbilisi's foreign trade partners.
