February 11, Fineko/abc.az. In the manufacturing sector, pharmaceutical production decreased 2.8-fold for January.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that at the same time, the production of cars, trailers and semi–trailers grew 2.1-fold, the installation & repair of machinery and equipment by 92.7%, the production of electrical equipment by 53.2%, building materials by 39.3%, tobacco products by 37.4%, paper and cardboard by 26.1%, textile products by 20.3%, printing products by 8.2%, clothing by 3.9%, furniture by 0.3%, food products by 0.6%, metallurgical products by 3.9%, beverages by 6.4%, leather and footwear products by 6.7%, rubber and plastic products by 6.7%, computers, electronics and optics by 6.7%, machinery and equipment by 10.8%, petroleum products by 16.4%, chemical products by 21.2%, wood products by 26.7%, finished metal products by 28.5%.

In the sector of production, distribution and supply of electricity, gas and steam, production declined by 2.9%, and in the sector of water supply, waste treatment and recycling by 5.7%.
