February 11, Fineko/abc.az. Relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey are coming to the fore in such spheres as energy, construction and infrastructure, agriculture and food industry, healthcare and tourism, as well as information technologies and defense industry.

ABC.AZ informs that Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Birol Akgun said this at a forum in Baku.

He noted that last December, within the 12th meeting of the Joint Turkish-Azerbaijani Economic Commission, held in Baku under the chairmanship of Turkish Vice President Cevdet Yilmaz and Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov, all these spheres were reviewed in detail and it was once again confirmed that full support would be provided to businessmen of both countries: "Our goal is to increase mutual trade turnover up to $15 billion. To achieve this goal - joint production, development and promotion of our fraternal peoples to a more prosperous future - we will continue our activities in the new period."
