Azerbaijan increased gas exports to Turkey in 2025

February 13, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan exported 11,915.35 million cu m of gas to Turkey in 2025.

ABC.AZ informs, referring to the Turkish Energy Market Regulatory Council (EPDK), that the figure is 3.8% more than in 2024.

Of them, 11.524 bcm were delivered on the basis of a long-term agreement, 390.5 million cu m on a spot basis.

In December, the Azerbaijani gas supplies to Turkey amounted to 1.08 bcm (4.17% higher than a year earlier).

At the same time, the entire volume was exported on a long-term basis.

In December, Turkey imported 7.65 bcm of gas, including 3.96 bcm of pipeline gas (51.74% of all supplies) and 3.69 bcm of liquefied natural gas (LNG) (48.26% of all supplies).

In December, Azerbaijan ranked 3rd in terms of supplies, with 14.12% of overall supplies to Turkey. The U.S. was in 1st place (30.33% of all shipments), Russia - 2nd (30.1%), Iran - 4th (7.53%), and Algeria - 5th (6.27%).

In December, gas supplies to Turkey were carried out from 13 countries: Azerbaijan, Russia, Iran - via pipelines, Algeria, Angola, the U.S., Egypt, Senegal, Equatorial Guinea, Cameroon, Nigeria, Norway and Trinidad and Tobago - LNG.
