February 16, Fineko/abc.az. In 2025, overall earnings of hotels and hotel-type facilities in Azerbaijan amounted to 653 million manats.

ABC.AZ informs that compared with 2024, this figure declined by 41.1 million manats, or 5.92%. In 2024, total earnings of the sector were 694.2 million manats.

The decrease in revenue is mainly linked with a drop in eranings from the sale of rooms. In 2024, hotels served a total of 2.64 million people, but in 2025 this figure dropped to 2.38 million, including 1.58 million foreign citizens.

Thus, revenues from the sale of rooms fell by 11.17% - from 454.5 million manats to 403.8 million manats. At the same time, revenues from catering services increased by 4.33%, from 170.1 million manats to 177.4 million manats. Revenues from medical and wellness services grew by 6.07% and revenues from other services by 3.73%. Revenues from the provision of conference rooms decreased by 3.75% and from sightseeing services by 15.78%.
