February 17, Fineko/abc.az. In 2025, the expenses of Azerbaijani citizens for tourism on foreign trips amounted to 2.34 bn manats, which is a significant increase compared with 2024.

ABC.AZ informs that the main share in the cost structure accounted for transport - 745 million manats, or 36.6% of overall expenses, but in the previous year this figure was 767 million manats and 35%, that is, the share decreased slightly.

Living expenses also fell to 450 million manats (22.1%) and in 2024 - 519 million manats (23.7%).

Expenses on food and drinks declined by 19.8% to 403 million manats against 433 million manats in the previous year. Expenses on the purchase of goods and gifts decreased by 327 million manats (16.1%). On the contrary, the share of expenditures on sports and entertainment services grew from 11.87 million manats in 2024 to 12.8 million manats in 2025 and reached 0.6% of overall expenditures.
