February 18, Fineko/abc.az. Last year, Azerbaijan imported 1,344,329 smartphones for $457.3 million from abroad.

ABC.AAZ informs that according to the State Statistics Committee, the figure is 4% more in value terms and 11% less in quantity compared with 2024.

Azerbaijan imported 1,081,425 smartphones from China (-10%) for $359.2 million (+7% versus 2024), 247,866 phones (+8%) from Vietnam for $89.3 million (+13%) , 14,133 phones (-81%) from India for $8.5 million (-57%), 606 phones (3-fold more) from Indonesia for $168,300 (4-fold more), 29 phones (+71%) from Malaysia for $37,400 (+42%).

In 2024, 79.5% of 1.5 million smartfphone imports by Azerbaijan was carried out from China.
