ABC.AZ informs, referring to Reuters, that the new valuation is based on a deal for sale of shares to investment fund General Atlantic.

Over the past 6 months, company's value has grown by 66%, from $330 billion to the current estimate, driven by increased interest in AI developments. ByteDance is actively expanding its presence in the AI market and plans to create its own accelerators.

ByteDance remains one of the most profitable technology companies: its profit last year was estimated at $48 bn, and the largest international investors are showing interest in the shares.
