March 10, Fineko/abc.az. Last year, 1,924 tons of perfumes and toilet water worth $42.1 million were imported in Azerbaijan from abroad (15% more than in 2024 in value terms and 8% more than in quantity), ABC.AZ informs with reference to the State Statistics Committee.

Azerbaijan imported 136.4 tons of products from France (+0.4%) for $15.3 million (8% more than 1 year ago), 348.3 tons (-16%) for $4.6 million (-1%) from the UAE, and 703.4 tons (+34%) from China for $4.19 million (+43%), 66 tons (+46%) from Italy for $4.18 million (+44%) and 58.1 tons (-19%) from Spain for $3.3 million (+11%).

Azerbaijan restored supplies from Portugal (0.08 tons for $8,800) after 9 years and 5 months.

France accounts for 39% of perfumes worth $36.6 million imported in Azerbaijan in 2024, while the UAE accounts for 13%.
