March 12, Fineko/abc.az. As of the end of the first 6 months of 2025, Azerbaijan's overall investments in the Turkish economy reached $13.1 bn.

ABC.AZ informs that Aidos Omarov, chief analyst at the Center for Integration Studies of the Eurasian Development Bank (EBRD), said this, when presenting the report "Investment Dynamics in the Eurasian Region: Results & Trends".

According to Omarov, the return flow of investments from Turkey to Azerbaijan is estimated at $3.1 bn.

"The largest Azerbaijani project in Turkey is the construction of the STAR oil refinery by the Azerbaijan State Oil Company (SOCAR) with total investment of approx. $7 bn. Turkey's largest investment project is the participation of Turkish company TPAO in development of gas condensate field Shah Deniz. The volume of these investments is $2.85 bn," Omarov emphasized.
