March 12, Fineko/abc.az. Last year, 29,456 beekeeping farms with 545,100 bee colonies in Azerbaijan produced 4,757 tons of honey, 122.9 tons of wax, 7.5 tons of propolis, 14.9 tons of pollen and 254 kg of bee milk.

ABC.AZ informs, referring to the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan, that the average selling price from manufacturers was: honey - 28.5 manats per kg, wax - 17.7 manats, propolis - 135.3 manats, pollen - 154.6 manats, and bee's milk - 6.8 manats per gram.

Compared with 2024, the number of bee colonies declined by 5.9%, honey production by 7.9%, wax by 6.9%, propolis by 12.2%, pollen by 11.2%, while bee milk production increased by 6.2%.
