Azerbaijan's GDP grew by 1.4%

March 13, Fineko/abc.az. Country's real GDP increased by 1.4% in 2025, compared with the previous year, and reached 129.1 bn manats.

ABC.AZ informs that PM Ali Asadov said this on March 13, when presenting in Milli Majlis a report on Cabinet Ministers’ activities for 2025. .

The PM added that the non-oil sector grew by 2.7% in real terms and reached 92.3 bn manats. 72% of the total value added in the economy was generated in the non-oil sector. The growth in the non-oil/gas industry was 5.5%.

The oil & gas sector shrank by 1.6%. Maintaining overall economic growth amid lower oil production was made possible precisely by expansion of the non-oil sector.

The positive foreign trade balance of $6.4 bn and growth of non-oil exports more than by 8% up to over $3.6 bn indicate the expansion of Azerbaijan's export potential and increased international competitiveness.
