Iran has allowed passage of one Turkish vessel through Strait of Hormuz

March 13, Fineko/abc.az. One of the 15 Turkish vessels in the region received Iranian permission to pass through the Strait of Hormuz, as it was heading to an Iranian port, ABC.AZ reports, quoting Turkish Transport Minister Abdulkadir Uraloglu.

The remaining 14 vessels owned by Turkish companies remain in the Strait area.

According to the minister, nearly 800 vessels of various types are currently located near the Strait. Two Turkish Airlines planes and one Pegasus Airlines plane remain in the region, the crews of which have already been returned. Airlines are temporarily redirecting flights through Georgia, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan.
