March 13, Fineko/abc.az. In total, 2,824 apartments were sold to foreign citizens in Turkey for Jan-Feb 2026 (199 aparts, or 6.6% less against Jan-Feb 2025), ABC.AZ informs, referring to the Statistical Office of Turkey.

In February alone, 1,513 apartments were sold to foreign citizens in Turkey (48 aparts, or 3.3% more against February 2025).

Over Jan-Feb 2026, the largest number of apartment buyers in Turkey were Russian citizens. Over the past 2 months, 410 aparts have been sold to them (94 aparts, or 18.6% less against Jan-Feb 2025).

And in February 2026, Russian citizens bought 191 aparts in Turkey (65 aparts, or 25.4% less February 2025).

The next place was taken by Iranian citizens. In two months of this year, they sold 249 aparts in this country (46 aparts, or 15.6% less than a year earlier).

And in February 2026, Iranians bought 131 aparts in Turkey (2 aparts, or 1.5% less than in February 2025).

The 3rd place in the list of home buyers in Turkey for Jan-Feb 2026 was occupied by citizens of Iraq - 180 aparts (22 aparts, or 10.9% less than in the 2 months of 2025).

And in February 2026, Iraqis bought 106 aparts in Turkey (7 aparts, or 7.07% more than in February 2025).
