The “Her Art in Action” festival opened with the support of the company

Continuing its commitment to promoting gender equality and expanding opportunities for women, Azercell partnered with the “Her Art in Action” festival organized by the VarYox art and culture platform. The festival aims to foster a safe and inclusive creative environment for women artists in Azerbaijan while promoting equal opportunities in the arts and cultural sector.

The festival opened with the exhibition “A House Opening onto the Landscape,” held to mark March 8 – International Women’s Day.

The opening ceremony brought together representatives of partner organizations and the diplomatic corps, as well as artists and members of the cultural community.

Speaking at the event, Sona Abbasova, Director of the Corporate Communications Department at Azercell Telecom LLC, highlighted the company’s initiatives aimed at empowering women: “Women’s active participation in public life is essential to sustainable development. For many years, Azercell has supported initiatives that advance women’s education, professional growth, and leadership. We believe the “Her Art in Action” festival provides an important opportunity for women artists to showcase their talent and bring Azerbaijan’s cultural heritage to a broader international audience.”

Held for the third time, the “Her Art in Action” festival is an international initiative dedicated to promoting the work of women artists and strengthening cross-regional cultural cooperation. The participation of artists from different countries turns the festival into a dynamic space for the exchange of ideas and creative perspectives. The exhibition features artworks by 27 local and international artists.

The initiative is implemented with the support of Azercell Telecom LLC, PASHA Holding, and the Embassies of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the Kingdom of Spain in Azerbaijan.
