March 16, Fineko/abc.az. Bahraini company Aluminum Bahrain BSC (Alba) announced the partial shutdown of the world's largest aluminum plant due to problems with shipping in the Strait of Hormuz.

ABC.AZ informs, citing Bloomberg, that the plant has suspended three production lines (19% of its overall capacity). This will help preserve the reserves of raw materials.

Earlier, the IRGC said that Iran would not allow ships associated with the U.S. and its allies through the Strait.
