November 6, Fineko/abc.az. Entrepreneurs in Azerbaijan who raise salaries for employees or create new jobs should be given a 50% discount on taxes and social insurance payments.

ABC.AZ reports that MP Tahir Mirkishili stated about this during the discussion of the draft amendments to the Tax Code in the Parliamentary Committee on Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship.

"These advantages may encourage entrepreneurs to abandon informal ways to raise wages. As entrepreneurs tend to be non-transparent when raising wages in order to avoid taxes," Mirkishili said.
