November 6, Fineko/abc.az. In the first 3 quarters of this year, around 159 million barrels (19 million tons) of crude oil were exported via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline, ABC.AZ informs, referring to BP’s report on the results of Q3 of 2025.
Over the 2024 same term, this figure reached about 165 million barrels (22 million tons), which means a year-on-year decline of 3.6%.
From the commissioning of the 1,768 km BTC pipeline in June 2006 to the end of September 2025, a total of nearly 613 million tons (more than 4.6 billion barrels) have been transported via this pipeline crude oil that was loaded onto 6078 tankers in Ceyhan and shipped to world markets.
