November 14, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Sept 2025, average monthly nominal salary of employees in the Azerbaijani economy reached 1,088 manats (9.5% more versus JanSept 2024).

ABC.AZ informs with reference to the State Statistics Committee that as of October 1, 2025, the number of employees in the country's economy amounted to 1,781,400 people, including 863,200 people in the public sector and 918,200 people in the non-governmental sector of the domestic economy.

18.8% of employees were engaged in trade; vehicle repair, 18.1% in education, 13.9% in industry, 8.5% in healthcare and social services, 6.7% in construction, 6.3% in public administration and defense; social security, 4.5% in transport and 4% in professional, scientific and technical activities, 2.4% in agriculture, forestry and fishing, 2.3% in financial and insurance activities, and 14.5% in other sectors of the economy.
