November 24, Fineko/abc.az. The comparative dynamics of the number of employees (as of October 1, 2025) by districts of Baku for the relevant period of 2024 has been published.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that the total number of employees in Baku increased by 13,686 people, or by 1.4% — from 972,657 people up to 986,343 people.

The ranking is headed by Surakhani district with the highest dynamics in terms of annual percentage growth in the number of employees - 6.2% (or 1,302 people). Thus, in Surakhani district, the number of employees grew from 21,131 up to 22,433.

Khatayi district came in 2nd place, where the number of employees increased by 6.1% (or 5,442 people) from 88,816 up to 94,258.

Narimanov district took the 3rd place with an increase of 5.6% (or 6,237 people), and Nasimi district - the 4th with a rise of 4.2% (or 9,180 people).

This is followed by Sabayil district (a rise of 3.5% or 3,965 people), Nizami district (a rise of 2.7% or 1,687 people), Sabunchi district (a rise of 0.7% or 260 people), Binagadi district (a rise of 0.5% or 328 people) and Garadagh district (a rise of 0.2% or 51 people).
