December 4, Fineko/abc.az. Anglo Asian Mining Plc. (AAM), a British company engaged in gold, silver and copper mining in Azerbaijan, has started selling copper concentrate from new copper mine Demirli in the Karabakh region.

ABC.AZ reports, referring to AAM, that previously Singapore multinational trading company Trafigura Pte Ltd signed an agreement on the sale of concentrate produced at the Demirli mine.

"From November 17 to November 30, Trafigura sold 2,055 tons of copper concentrate containing 351 tons of copper. This means that, excluding the share of the Azerbaijani government, a preliminary total income of $3.6 million was received from the sale," AAM says.

The company notes that a specialized logistics center for concentrate storage and delivery has been established in Dalimamedli, located near Ganja, not far from the main highway between Azerbaijan and Georgia. The logistics center includes a fully enclosed warehouse with an area of 3,500 m2 and a closed warehouse with an area of 1,500 m2, located on 7 hectares. The concentrate is delivered to the logistics center from the Demirli mine by the company's trucks.

"The establishment of this logistics center demonstrates the close cooperation between Trafigura and AAM and allows for efficient and fast sales of copper concentrate," AAM says.

The company also notes that in accordance with the strategy aimed at increasing production volumes, in November 2025, AAM produced a record volume of 1.95 million tons of rock at the Demirli mine.
