December 5, Fineko/abc.az. According to the forecast of the Dutch ING Group, Azerbaijan's GDP growth in 2025 will be 1.6%.

This figure will be 2.8% in 2026 and in 2027 is expected to decrease to 2%, ABC.AZ reports with a link to the group.

The quarterly forecast for Azerbaijan's GDP growth for 2026 is presented below.

1st quarter - 4%,

2nd quarter - 2.5%,

3rd quarter - 3.5%,

4th quarter - 1%.

ING expects the first 2.5% growth in the 4th quarter of 2025.

"The country's financial situation remains stable due to significant government assets and balanced fiscal policy," ING said.

The group's experts also noted that Moody's upgrade of Azerbaijan's sovereign rating to investment grade “Baa3” is a potentially positive factor for portfolio investments.
