December 5, Fineko/abc.az. For Jan-Sept 2025, Azerbaijan imported 7.17 tons of sweet potatoes for $10,380 (72% less in value terms and 88% less in quantity versus the 2024 same term), ABC.AZ with reference to the State Statistics Committee.

Azerbaijan purchased 3.5 tons (-69%) of products from the U.S. for $5,000 (69% less than a year ago), 3.1 tons (-44%) from Egypt for $4,400 (-44%), 0.6 tons for $800 from Spain and 0.2 tons for $0.02 thousand (no supplies a year ago).

This year, for the first time in the last 14 years, deliveries from Spain were made (official foreign trade statistics are publicly available for the period up to 2011).
