December 26, Fineko/abc.az. - (special news) - A certain number of new jobs are to be created in Azerbaijan in 2026. Although there is no official and precise final forecast yet, existing indicators and government plans for 2026 suggest that a significant number of jobs will be created next year.

ABC.AZ’s research informs that speaking online, Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov said it is planned to create close to 44,000 new jobs next year.

According to forecasts, nearly 8,000 people will be involved in self-employment programs in 2026, and another 7,000 people will participate in self-employment projects within an agreement with the World Bank.

This means that 15,000 new jobs will be created next year as part of the self-employment program.

In 2026, total expectations are 44,000 new jobs.

If we consider that 15,000 people will be involved in this program as part of self-employment, then a total of more than 70,000 new jobs may be created across the country next year.
