January 30, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan will not allow its territory or airspace to be used for strikes against Iran.

ABC.AZ informs that Azerbaijani FM Jeyhun Bayramov stated about this in a telephone conversation with Iranian counterpart Abbas Araqchi.

The telephone conversation between the FMs of Azerbaijan and Iran took place on January 29.

"It was emphasized that Azerbaijan will never allow any state to use its airspace or territory to conduct military operations against Iran or any other country," the press service of the Azerbaijani Foreign Affairs Ministry informs.

Bayramov stressed that Azerbaijan's position is principled and unchangeable, and Baku consistently opposes steps and rhetoric that could lead to the destabilization of the situation around Iran.

In addition, the FMs of Azerbaijan and Iran discussed other bilateral and regional issues of mutual interest.
