Lenovo's profit fell by 21%, but the company exceeded expectations

February 12, Fineko/abc.az. Lenovo's third-quarter profit declined by 21%, but the company beat analysts' expectations as strong revenue growth helped offset margin pressures.

ABC.AZ reports, referring to Reuters, that the net income attributable to shareholders decreased to $546 million in the three months ended December 31.

Revenue grew 18% year-on-year up to $22.2 billion, exceeding expectations of $20.6 billion, as the world's largest PC maker benefited from demand driven by artificial intelligence.

Adjusted net profit increased by 36% up to $589 million.
