February 13, Fineko/abc.az. Many people face difficulties, when importing mobile phones from abroad. Users have the greatest difficulties registering IMEI, one of the reasons for which is the lack of information on this issue.

With this in mind, ABC.AZ contacted AzInTelecom, which is subordinate to the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport.

The agency reported that the IMEI registration process for devices imported for personal use is carried out electronically.

"Registration of imported phones is carried out through portal mygov.az or mygov mobile app. The process is fast and takes an average of 2-3 minutes," the Ministry said.
