February 16, Fineko/abc.az. In January 2026, according to customs declarations, Azerbaijan exported 2.29 bcm of natural gas for $687.506 million, ABC.AZ informs, referring to the State Customs Committee.

The volume of exported natural gas was 2% less than in 2024, and its cost - 21% less.

The share of natural gas in Azerbaijan's overall exports was 30.75%.

This January, Azerbaijan conducted trade operations with foreign countries for $3.538 billion, including exports for $2.236 billion and imports for $1.302 billion (a drop on exports by 26.4% and on imports by 36.5%).
