February 17, Fineko/abc.az. Uzbekistan, Iran and Turkey will create a mutually integrated transport and logistics system.

ABC.AZ reports that the project was discussed by Uzbek Transport Minister Ilkhom Makhkamov, Iranian Road Construction Minister Farzane Sadegh and Turkish Transport & Infrastructure Minister Abdulkadir Uraloglu.

Makhkamov emphasized that development of the Uzbekistan-Turkmenistan-Iran-Turkey corridor is currently a priority.

He also noted that it is necessary to start integrating the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway under construction into existing international corridors, including through Iran and Turkey.
