February 19, Fineko/abc.az. In order to facilitate travel opportunities for citizens and strengthen ties between the countries, the visa requirement for citizens holding general passports of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Sultanate of Oman, the State of Kuwait and the Kingdom of Bahrain to enter the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan has been lifted for the period from February 15, 2026 to February 15, 2027.

ABC.AZ informs, referring to the State Migration Service, that during the period of validity of the new rules, citizens of these countries will be able to enter Azerbaijan without a visa up to three times and stay in the country for up to 30 days at each entry. Citizens of these countries intending to arrive in Azerbaijan for purposes other than tourism, or planning a long stay, will be able to enter the country after obtaining the appropriate visa in accordance with the procedure established by law.

Also, for citizens of third countries who have a temporary or permanent residence permit issued by authorized state bodies of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Sultanate of Oman, the State of Kuwait, the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Qatar with validity period of at least 6 months, it is possible to obtain a single-entry tourist visa for 30-day period at the international airports of Azerbaijan during the specified period.
