Norway to provide Ukraine for $9 bn in aid in 2026

February 26, Fineko/abc.az. Norway will provide $9 bn for Ukraine in financing in 2026 within program Nansen.

ABC.AZ reports that Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Stere made this statement after a visit to Kiev.

The funds will be used to purchase gas, support energy infrastructure and strengthen air defense systems. Investments in long-term economic projects and cooperation through government financial instruments are also envisaged.

Norway remains one of the key donors to Ukraine, paying special attention to energy security and defense.
