March 4, Fineko/abc.az. Flights to some destinations have increased in price by 20%.

ABC.AZ informs that amid the events taking place in the region, there is an increase in prices, in particular, for flights to Asian countries.

Tourism expert Rahman Guliyev says that because of termination of direct flights to Doha and Dubai, passengers were sent on alternative routes. This also affects prices as it increases demand.

He added that if in normal times it was possible to buy a ticket to Asian countries for 1,000 manats, now the price ranges from 1200-1500 manats.

The expert also emphasized that the events in Iran affect not only prices, but also the overall tourist flow. Some tourists postpone their travel plans or change their destination.

Experts believe that if stability is restored in the region, then there may be gradual normalization in the price of air tickets.
