March 10, Fineko/abc.az. The U.S. military spent approx. $5.6 bn on ammunition at the initial stage of the operation against Iran, The Washington Post reports, citing sources.

ABC.AZ reports that according to the publication, the high rate of expenditure of precision-guided weapons has caused concern among some members of the U.S. Congress, as stocks of such systems are limited. To continue operations, the military has to redirect resources from other regions, including the Asia-Pacific.
