March 10, Fineko/abc.az. Prolonging the Iranian crisis for at least three months could jeopardize Turkey's exports to the region ($31 bn a year) and tourism revenues ($7 bn).

In the worst-case scenario, Turkey's overall losses under these items could exceed 10% of annual revenues ($273.4 bn from exports and $65 bn from tourism). The crisis escalated after the start of the U.S. and Israeli military operation against Iran on February 28 and retaliatory strikes by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps against targets in the region.
