July 25, Fineko/abc.az. In the 1st half of 2022, ABB’s interest income grew even more and interest expenses decreased.

ABC.AZ reports that ABB's interest income for the first 6 months of 2022 increased by AZN 38.427 million or 17.8% (compared with Jan-Jun 2021) up to AZN 253.856 million.

In the comparable period, Bank's non-interest income, with the exception of a one-time dividend received from a subsidiary for the 2021 same period, increased by AZN 22.3 million up to AZN 81.6 million.

In the period from January to June 2022, operating income (interest and non-interest income) of ABB amounted to AZN 335.496 million, operating expenses (interest and non–interest expenses) – AZN 160.49 million, since revenues exceeded expenses, operating profit amounted to AZN 175.5 million.

The Bank allocated AZN 35.37 million for target reserves created for possible losses from operating profit, and profit tax was accrued in the amount of AZN 21.216 million.
