SOCAR and QazaqGaz to cooperate — Memo signed

August 25, Fineko/abc.az. SOCAR and QazaqGaz intend to cooperate in the field of hydrocarbon production in Kazakhstan.

ABC.AZ reports that a memo was signed during the meeting of SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf with a delegation headed by Sanzhar Zharkeshov, Chairman of the Board of QazaqGaz National Company JSC.

The document provides for the exploration and development of hydrocarbon deposits in Kazakhstan, the development of the gas chemical industry, the modernization of gas transportation infrastructure, the use of innovative technologies in this area and the study of opportunities for cooperation in other important areas.
