November 15, Fineko/abc.az. The carbamide plant of the State Oil Company (SOCAR), a resident of the Sumgait Chemical Industrial Park, which is under the jurisdiction of the Economic Zones Development Agency under the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan, expands the geography of exports.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Agency that the plant exported more than 26,000 tons of products to Poland, Israel and Greece for the first time.

The SOCAR Carbamide plant was launched in January 2019.

The company plays an important role in eliminating dependence on the import of nitrogen fertilizers and meeting the needs of local farmers.

The output produced at the plant is exported to 15 countries of the world under brand Made in Azerbaijan.

So far, the company has produced output for AZN 625 million, and over 85% of the products have been exported.
