Will Bank Melli Iran close in Azerbaijan?

February 1, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan has not received an appeal in connection with the liquidation of the license of Iranian bank Bank Melli Iran.

ABC.AZ reports that Central Bank’s general director Togrul Aliyev stated about this, when replying the question about the possibility of closing the branch of Bank Melli Iran in Azerbaijan.

He added that today, this issue is not on agenda.

He also noted that if the bank applies, his application can be considered.
