September 13, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan will use the experience of Belarus to revive the territories liberated from occupation. One of these methods is the creation of agricultural towns in the liberated territories, as in Belarus.

ABC.AZ reports that this matter was discussed at a meeting at the State Committee for Urban Planning & Architecture during the visit of Deputy Foreign Minister of Belarus Igor Nazaruk to Baku.

Belarusian specialists are currently developing a project to create an agricultural town in Aghdam village Gizil Kengerli.

The meeting participants discussed progress of work on this project, it was noted that the project will have impact on all-round development of settlements in Aghdam district, the revival of rural areas, and the economy of the region.

Agricultural towns are an interesting practice used in Belarus for development of rural areas. An agricultural town is a well–maintained form of village, where there is an industrial and social infrastructure and a certain standard of living of the population. Since the 2000s, this method has been widely used in Belarus, and the agricultural town is considered as a separate settlement.
