ABC.AZ reports that the Cabinet Ministers approved the "investment strategy for the management of residual funds of postal savings and postal accounts, adopted by the national postal operator".

In this regard, Prime Minister Ali Asadov signed a new decree.

According to the resolution, the purpose of managing the investment portfolio of the national postal operator is to generate investment income, subject to compliance with prudential and liquidity requirements established by the regulatory authority in the field of financial services.

The national operator manages the investment portfolio based on the principles of security, liquidity and profitability, taking into account priority.

The national operator applies an active-passive approach to the management of the investment portfolio.
