Turkish Airlines wants to fly to Gabala

April 23, Fineko/abc.az. Turkish Airlines, which currently operates flights to Baku, Ganja and Nakhchivan, intends to expand the geography of flights in Azerbaijan.

Seyfulla Ilyas, the head of the Baku-based representative office of Turkish Airlines, says that flight Baku-Antalya operating daily from 21 March is going to be daily from 1 June in connection with the beginning of the summer season.

"We’re also considering the matters of expansion of the geography of flights. It is known the interest of tourists to the city of Gabala is growing currently. We monitor this process and if Company's management decides we’re ready to organize flights in this direction. But at the moment there are no such plans," Ilyas said.

He stressed that Turkish Airlines participates actively in the process of attracting tourists to Azerbaijan, establishes partnership with representatives of the tourism industry and even presents special discount programs for companies.
