Yelo Bank staff increased from 400 up to 900 employees - Report

January 28, Fineko/abc.az. Yelo Bank has also published its financial results for 2019.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to Bank's report that last year the number of Bank’s employees grew from 400 up to 900 workers. Over the past year the Bank also increased the range of services to its customers. In particular, Yelo Bank started lending to microenterprises.

Last year Yelo Bank gave 7,400 micro-loans for AZN 44.8 million. As a whole, the Bank gave business loans in the total amount of AZN 86.4 million.

Commenting on Yelo Bank’s financial indicators, Bank's chairman of board Nikoloz Shurgaia said: "The past year was memorable for us not only by the process of rebranding, but also by the institutional development, the increase in the number of qualified personnel and the improvement of the main business indicators. This is the first time that over the last few years the Bank completed the year with profit and that makes us happy. According to international financial reporting standards, our profit will be higher. In 2020 our main priority will be to transform Bank's business processes. As a result, we’ll be able to define the standards of Yelo’s services and get a sustainable long-term result. Our new approach Brighter Banking to be introduced in 2020 will make our Bank's services brighter and more positive for customers."
